Central Civil Construction hosted a Build-A-Bike® charity team-building event at the Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, Florida. The event brought together 42 foremen and managers from the company for a day of training, goal setting, and team building. Following a morning of classroom-style sessions, the group came together to assemble bicycles for local children. All in all, it was a fun and rewarding conclusion to the day’s hard work.

The Build-A-Bike® event took place at the picturesque Ocean Reef Club. It provided a unique setting for Central Civil Construction’s foremen and managers to come together for their annual retreat. Used to the hands-on work of construction, the group shifted gears into a more classroom-style environment, participating in training sessions aimed at goal setting and professional development. Though the indoor setting was a change of pace, the team quickly adapted, asking questions and discussing how these new concepts could be applied to their daily work on construction sites.
After a morning of training, the Build-A-Bike® activity served as a fun and energizing way to wrap up the day. The participants worked together to build bikes for students at Key Largo School. Everyone embraced the challenge and enjoyed the opportunity to give back to the local community. The event not only reinforced teamwork but also highlighted Central Civil Construction’s commitment to supporting the community. Thus, making it a memorable and rewarding experience for everyone involved.
