Cytiva hosted an Amazing Builders charity team building event in Marlborough, Massachusetts. Thirty-two team members participated in this engaging activity designed as a refreshing break from their regular work routine. The event, which concluded their workday, combined team building challenges with charitable giving through partnership with the YMCA of Central Massachusetts.

Cytiva employees tackle Amazing Builders challenge in Marlborough, Massachusetts
The Amazing Builders event offered Cytiva employees a unique way to end their workday. Overall, it transformed traditional team building into an exciting obstacle course challenge. Teams of participants navigated through indoor obstacles while blindfolded, relying on their colleagues’ guidance to complete the course successfully. This exercise particularly resonated with Cytiva’s collaborative culture. That’s because it required the same precision and trust that they apply in their biotechnology work.
Throughout the event, teams worked together to collect items that would be donated to the YMCA of Central Massachusetts. The blindfolded obstacle course challenge added an extra layer of excitement and demonstrated the importance of clear communication and mutual trust. By combining physical activity, team coordination, and charitable giving, the event provided a meaningful conclusion to the workday while making a positive impact in their local community.
