The finance department at Dell Technologies hosted a Rescue Bear® charity team building event in Austin, TX. The group wanted their annual service project to make a big splash, and they delivered in a huge way. Last year, they donated backpacks to kids in the aMAZEing Builders program. This year, they wanted to donate Rescue Bears, but they kept doubling their impact as the event unfolded. Their enthusiasm helped them build over 100 stuffed animals for two local charities.

Dell Team Builds Rescue Bear® For Two Charities At Charity Team Building Event in Austin, Texas
The finance department approached this Rescue Bear® event with big goals. They planned to donate stuffed animals and create a meaningful experience for their annual service project. After contacting several charities, they discovered two organizations they wanted to support. Instead of choosing one, they doubled the number of bears again so both groups could benefit. Their teamwork and energy helped them build more than 100 stuffed animals.
During the challenges, teams earned bear-building supplies by completing each activity. Their problem solving and collaboration helped them move quickly through every task. Brandi, one of the Dell team members, even organized her own charity connection. This led the group to support both Ronald McDonald House and Texas Baptist Children’s Home. Their generosity and teamwork ensured both charities received large bundles of Rescue Bears for kids in need.
