EPRI Build-A-Bike® Event in Dallas, TX

The Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) hosted a Build-A-Bike® charity team building event for 36 participants at On Rotation Brewery and Kitchen in Dallas, TX. This engaging activity was part of their annual training, which had been less consistent since 2019. The event aimed to strengthen team bonds and give back to the community by donating the assembled bikes to Hope Kids.

Founded in 1972, the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) is the world’s leading independent, non-profit energy research and development organization. With offices around the globe, EPRI collaborates with over 450 companies in 45 countries. Their mission is to drive innovation and ensure the public has clean, safe, reliable, affordable, and equitable access to electricity.

EPRI team unites for Build-A-Bike® event in Dallas, Texas

The Build-A-Bike® event was a fantastic addition to EPRI’s annual training. It provided a fun and collaborative way to engage the team. The event offered a rare opportunity for face-to-face interaction and team building. This is because the team’s mostly remote nature and widespread locations across the country. Held on the patio of On Rotation Brewery and Kitchen by Love Field Airport, the setting provided a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for the activity.

Participants formed teams and worked together to assemble bicycles, enhancing their teamwork and communication skills. The process of building the bikes allowed team members to bond and collaborate in a meaningful way. The event not only reinforced the importance of teamwork but also highlighted EPRI’s commitment to community engagement.

The newly assembled bikes were donated to Hope Kids. This organization is dedicated to providing support and activities for children with life-threatening medical conditions. The donation added a heartwarming and impactful dimension to the event, making a positive difference in the lives of the children served by Hope Kids.

We give a big thank you to EPRI for their generous contribution to Hope Kids. Their dedication to innovation and community service is truly inspiring, and their efforts have made a significant impact on the local community.

We are excited to release three new charity team building events based on the Build-A-Bike ® program:
