The Build-A-Bike® event provided an invaluable opportunity for Exact Sciences’ team members to enhance their communication skills and build strong interpersonal connections. The participants, a mix of senior executives and new hires, worked together in small teams to assemble bicycles. This setting allowed new hires to integrate seamlessly with experienced colleagues, promoting a sense of unity and shared purpose. The collaboration and problem-solving required to build the bikes fostered a spirit of teamwork and mutual support.

Throughout the event, teams raced to be the first to correctly assemble their bicycles, infusing the atmosphere with friendly competition and excitement. The bicycles built during the event were donated to Tri-4 Schools, a local charity dedicated to promoting health and fitness among children. The collective efforts of the Exact Sciences team not only resulted in beautifully assembled bicycles but also made a meaningful contribution to the community. The positive energy and enthusiasm displayed by the participants underscored the company’s commitment to both teamwork and community engagement.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Exact Sciences for their generous donation and commitment to children in need. A special thank you to Tri-4 Schools for their continuous support and dedication to fostering healthy lifestyles in the community.

We are excited to release three new charity team building events based on the Build-A-Bike ® program:
