Hood’s Build-A-Bike® Event in Peabody, Massachusetts
Hood®, a name synonymous with fresh, quality dairy products for over 175 years, hosted a Build-A-Bike® charity team building event at the Boston Marriott Peabody in Peabody, Massachusetts. This event brought together twenty-eight employees from multiple departments. Overall, they came from different states for an in-person meeting, aiming to foster team cohesion and community spirit.
Founded in 1846 in Charlestown, Massachusetts, Hood is now one of the largest dairy processors in the United States. All in all, operating 13 manufacturing plants nationwide. Hood is the number-one dairy brand in New England, known for its portfolio of national and super-regional brands and licensed products, including Heluva Good!, LACTAID® Brand dairy products, and Blue Diamond Almond Breeze®. The company maintains its own research and development operation to support superior product quality and innovation.
Hood employees unite for Build-A-Bike® event in Peabody, Massachusetts
The Build-A-Bike® event at the Boston Marriott Peabody provided a lively and collaborative atmosphere. It allowed the Hood employees to enhance their teamwork skills and connect face-to-face. Participants from various departments, many meeting in person for the first time, engaged in team-building activities, including spirited cow-themed cheers to celebrate their dairy heritage.
Teams worked together to assemble bicycles, fostering camaraderie and cooperation. The successful assembly of the bikes demonstrated the participants’ dedication and teamwork. The event culminated in the donation of these bicycles to Girls Inc, a charity that Hood has worked with before. Representatives from Girls Inc were present to receive the bikes and expressed their gratitude, emphasizing the positive impact these donations would have on the children they serve.
