HUBER+SUHNER Employees Get Together For Charity Bike Building Activity in Charlotte, North Carolina

The Build-A-Bike® event brought together 50 Charlotte-based employees for collaboration and friendly competition. Participants represented customer service, finance, logistics, engineering, project management, and human resources. The General Manager, Andy Hollywood, also joined the experience. Since most employees work hybrid schedules, in-person time remains especially valuable. About 75% of the team works from home offices, while 25% work in the Charlotte office. This event helped strengthen relationships that support daily collaboration.

Teams worked together to assemble bicycles while practicing communication and problem-solving skills. The energy stayed high as teams raced against the clock to complete their builds. Once finished, the bikes supported the mission of Trips for Kids Charlotte. The charity partnership added purpose to the competition and motivated strong teamwork. Following the event, HUBER+SUHNER received enthusiastic staff feedback. Several participants even submitted five-star reviews praising the experience.

Thank you to HUBER+SUHNER for giving back to the Charlotte community through this Build-A-Bike® event. We also thank Trips for Kids Charlotte for their impactful work with local youth.
