They ended the day with an evening Build-A-Bike® activity, which ran from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Six teams built bikes for children connected with Amigos For Kids.

Subway Purchasing Managers Build Bikes for Kids in Miami, Florida
This group of 45 managers works in the purchasing arm of Subway. They came to Miami for a planning meeting. We capped it off with a warm and connected charity event. Teams completed challenges to earn bike parts. Then they put their bikes together.
The late hour kept the kids from attending. But Susana Vela from Amigos For Kids found another way to connect the group with the children. She shared pictures and told a little bit about each child. It made a real impact for the employees.
The six bikes went to children through Amigos For Kids. Founded in 1991, the Miami nonprofit works to strengthen families and communities so children grow up safe, supported, and ready to thrive.
We’d like to thank Aneth Boozer and the IPC team for including us in their meeting. We’d also like to thank Susana Vela and the Amigos For Kids team for everything they do for South Florida’s children.
