Jack Henry Build-A-Bike® Event Near Dallas, TX
Jack Henry wrapped up their 2024 HR Summit with a Build-A-Bike® charity team-building event in Allen, Texas. Inspired by seeing this activity in action at a recent convention, HR Business Partner Kathryn McCormick made it a priority for her team to experience its benefits firsthand. The convention began with three productive days of meetings focused on Jack Henry’s strategic path into 2025. Finally, the team of 90 executives and HR professionals gathered for a memorable finale that combined teamwork, friendly competition, and charitable giving. The result? Building bikes for 12 deserving children from the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Dallas!

Jack Henry’s HR Team Unites for a Build-A-Bike® Event Near Allen, Texas
The Build-A-Bike® event provided an ideal conclusion to Jack Henry’s HR Summit. All in all, it allowed team members to foster deeper connections and unwind after three days of intensive planning. Executives enjoyed stepping out of their traditional roles and engaging in friendly competition to assemble bikes for local children. The event highlighted Jack Henry’s commitment to both internal team development and community outreach. Throughout the event, participants worked together in new ways that encouraged problem-solving and creativity.
The 90 HR professionals and leaders participated enthusiastically, building camaraderie and generating excitement as they constructed the bicycles. Lively banter and teamwork energized the atmosphere as teams raced to assemble the bikes correctly. By the end of the event, these efforts brought smiles to 12 kids from the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Dallas, who would soon receive the bikes as gifts.
