J&J Snack Foods Corp. hosted a Build-A-Bike® charity team building event in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. Thirty participants from their Human Resources team gathered as part of their annual HR Summit. All in all, the summit brought employees together from across the country. The team building event capped off a productive day with a fun and meaningful opportunity to work together while giving back to the community.

J&J Snack Foods employees unite for Build-A-Bike® event in Mount Laurel, New Jersey
The Build-A-Bike® event provided the J&J Snack Foods HR team with a unique opportunity to build camaraderie and strengthen collaboration. Many team members had traveled to Mount Laurel for the summit. This made the event a special occasion for fostering personal connections. Divided into small groups, participants worked together to assemble bicycles, using teamwork and problem-solving skills to complete the challenge.
The scenic venue added to the day’s excitement, offering an inviting space for colleagues to bond and reflect on their shared goals. By the end of the activity, participants felt a renewed sense of unity and accomplishment.
The assembled bicycles were donated to a charitable organization that J&J Snack Foods regularly partners with, ensuring the bikes would brighten the holiday season for children in need. Knowing that their efforts would result in Christmas presents for deserving kids added a heartfelt touch to the experience. This initiative demonstrated J&J Snack Foods’ dedication to making a positive impact in the communities they serve.
