On July 19th, LIV Development hosted Livano Serve Day, a daylong initiative that united eleven communities across the United States. Residents, employees, and families came together for aMAZEing Builders charity team building events at Livano properties from Arizona to Virginia. The result was a nationwide celebration of teamwork, connection, and service. Hundreds of participants put together backpacks filled with school supplies, donating them to children in need through local charities. The day demonstrated LIV’s commitment to fostering community both within and beyond their developments.
Livano is a collection of vibrant multifamily communities designed to help residents live richer, fuller, and more connected lives. LIV Development carefully curates every property to encourage meaningful engagement among residents while also creating opportunities to give back. With a resident-first philosophy, LIV focuses not only on quality housing but also on creating experiences that build stronger neighborhoods.
Residents, Staff, Family, and Friends Unite Nationwide for Livano Serve Day

Livano Serve Day was filled with high energy, laughter, and teamwork. At Livano Liberty Park in Alabama, 60 participants, including employees, families, and children, dove into the obstacle course challenges with enthusiasm. In Kentucky, residents at the new Louisville community turned their arrival-day gathering into a lively giveback event.
Meanwhile, at Livano Nature Coast in Florida, participants assembled 39 backpacks for underserved children, cheering as each challenge brought them closer to the goal. Each location reflected the same spirit: neighbors and staff working side by side, forging connections while supporting local kids.

Events ranged in size and format, yet all delivered excitement and community building. In Norfolk, Virginia, an energetic group of 30 residents and staff turned an initially smaller crowd into a powerful team experience. Livano Nations in Nashville saw neighbors build bonds while Mission Nashville celebrated their generosity.
In Texas, participants capped off their morning of laughter with tacos from a food truck after assembling 30 backpacks for Austin ISD students. From babies cheering in Oxford, Florida, to teenagers racing through the maze in Madison, Alabama, Serve Day was multi generational, joyful, and united in purpose.
Charity Partnerships Bring the Serve to Livano Serve Day

The donations reached children through a variety of local organizations. The Boys & Girls Club of Birmingham, YMCA chapters, United Way, and Family Resource Centers all welcomed contributions with gratitude.
In Spring Hill, Florida, YMCA of the Suncoast representatives expressed heartfelt thanks, while in Arizona, leaders from Sunshine Acres Children’s Home spoke passionately about their mission. Each charity partner emphasized the importance of these backpacks in setting children up for success in school.
Extending the Impact Beyond One Day
Many properties expressed plans to deepen their partnerships. In Oakwood, Georgia, residents connected with Family Promise of Hall County and began discussing volunteer opportunities. In Pflugerville, Texas, the collaboration with the Austin ISD Education Fund opened doors for ongoing community support.
These relationships illustrate how Livano Serve Day is more than a one-time initiative, it’s a catalyst for lasting connections between residents and their local communities.
We thank LIV Development for organizing Serve Day and for their commitment to creating vibrant, giving communities. We also extend gratitude to the many local charities, from YMCA to United Way and everyone else, for their continued dedication to children and families across the country.
