PepsiCo Build-A-Bike® Event Near Dallas, TX
PepsiCo hosted a Build-A-Bike® charity team building event at their facility in Grand Prairie, TX. Thirty participants came together to address communication challenges and foster a more cohesive team culture. This event not only served as a practical workshop for teamwork, though. It also supported the local charity, Hope Kids, by providing bicycles to children in need.

The Build-A-Bike® event was organized to enhance teamwork within the PepsiCo plant in Grand Prairie. Employees faced ongoing challenges in teamwork and communication which had impacted their daily operations. By engaging in this interactive session, participants worked through these barriers, which enhanced their ability to work cohesively. The initiative was part of PepsiCo’s broader strategy to strengthen team dynamics and improve operational efficiency across the board.
As part of the event, participants were divided into teams to assemble bicycles under timed conditions. Thus, fostering a spirit of healthy competition and collaboration. The bicycles assembled during the event were donated to Hope Kids, a charity dedicated to providing support for children facing life-threatening medical conditions. This gesture not only served to bond the team but also extended PepsiCo’s outreach to the community, reinforcing their commitment to corporate social responsibility.
