Singer Industrial teams up for Build-A-Bike® event in Charlotte, North Carolina
The Build-A-Bike® event was not just an opportunity for team building, however. It was also a moment to give back to the community. Particularly to the local Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club. Singer Industrial’s decision to integrate their vendors into the event also highlighted the inclusive approach they take towards their business environment.
Participants were divided into teams to assemble bicycles, which were then donated to local children from the Boys & Girls Club. The presence of 15 children from the club, especially on a Sunday, was a remarkable highlight. These children expressed their gratitude through personalized thank you letters to Singer Industrial. This created an emotionally charged and memorable moment for all the attendees. This gesture not only warmed hearts but also solidified the impact of Singer Industrial’s commitment to community support.
This team building event effectively mirrored the company’s annual focus. It did so by fostering a sense of unity and incremental improvement. All in all, themes that resonate deeply within Singer Industrial’s corporate culture. It served as a practical demonstration of the company’s motto, driving home the message of teamwork and collective progress towards significant goals.
We extend our sincerest thanks to Singer Industrial for their generosity and spirit of community. The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club of Charlotte also deserves recognition for their ongoing efforts and for facilitating such a meaningful interaction between the children and the event participants.
