SingleStore wrapped up their annual Sales Kick Off with an energetic Build-A-Bike® charity team building event in Scottsdale, Arizona. Hosted at the luxurious Mountain Shadows Resort, the event brought together 100 team members from across the country for a high-energy close to their day. Fueled by competitive spirit, laughter, and a surprise cheer competition, the event ended with 14 bicycles built and donated to the Boys and Girls Club of the Valley.

The Build-A-Bike® event was the final session of SingleStore’s Sales Kick Off, which drew employees from various regions to Scottsdale. After a long day of strategy and collaboration, the team was ready to shift gears into something more interactive, and they did not disappoint. The energy in the room was electric, with each team bringing their A-game not only to the bike-building challenge but also to the now-legendary cheer competition. Participants delivered choreographed chants, hilarious rhymes, and even a full “We Will Rock You” parody. The enthusiasm led the judges to create additional prizes, including one for the most creative flag.
Beyond the fun and games, the purpose of the event came through clearly as teams completed 14 fully assembled bicycles, later donated to the Boys and Girls Club of the Valley. The moment the bikes were handed over was a point of pride for everyone involved. Many participants admitted they initially expected a typical end-of-day activity, but they walked away energized and inspired. The number one sentiment the whole evening was “I thought this was going to be boring, I never thought it would be this fun!”
