Tokio Marine North America Services Employees Connect During Bike Building Team Event in Miami, Florida
The Build-A-Bike® event served as the perfect conclusion to day one of the Emerging Leaders Program meeting. Participants divided into 14 smaller teams, which encouraged stronger communication and greater collaboration throughout the activity. As teams worked through challenges and assembled bicycles, employees strengthened relationships with coworkers from different departments and service areas. The event reflected many of the company’s core values, including engagement, innovation, enthusiasm, integrity, and customer-centric partnership.
The activity also highlighted TMNAS’s mission to empower employees while making a positive impact beyond the workplace. Team members from departments such as legal, communications, finance, human resources, and information technology worked side-by-side toward a shared goal. Despite an unexpected supply issue, the event continued smoothly thanks to quick teamwork, additional craft supplies, and support from the hotel staff. By the end of the activity, the group successfully completed all 14 bicycles for the Boys and Girls Club of Miami.
Amber arrived on time to speak with the participants about the organization’s work throughout the Miami community. She also brought three helpers to load the donated bicycles into the truck at the conclusion of the event. The bike donations will help provide local children with recreation, confidence, and unforgettable memories.
We give a big thank you to Tokio Marine North America Services for supporting children through this meaningful donation. We would also like to thank the Boys and Girls Club of Miami for the incredible work they do for families and children throughout the area.
