Veolia Teams Create Community Impact Through Two Charity Team Building Events in Arizona and Texas
The first event took place on May 5 in Litchfield Park, Arizona. For the second time partnering with our team, Veolia hosted an Ace Race® charity team building event that brought together employees and customers for a day of networking, competition, and giving back. The event began with engaging networking activities that helped participants connect and build new relationships. Those early conversations quickly created a positive atmosphere throughout the room.
Once the competition began, teams embraced the challenge of designing and playing a creative mini-golf course built from nonperishable food items. Participants worked together to solve problems, strategize, and navigate the course while enjoying plenty of friendly competition. By the end of the event, the group had collected and donated 26 boxes of food to the Agua Fria Food & Clothing Bank, creating an immediate impact for families in the local community.
The following day, Veolia’s Gulf Region team gathered at The Westin Houston Memorial City for its annual meeting. This Build-A-Bike® event welcomed 140 participants who worked together toward a common charitable goal. Teams tackled challenges, collaborated on solutions, and earned the parts needed to assemble bicycles. The energy remained high throughout the event as participants encouraged one another and celebrated each accomplishment.
When the final challenge ended, the group had successfully built 18 bicycles for children in the Houston community. The event combined teamwork, communication, and community service into one memorable experience. Together, the Arizona and Texas teams demonstrated Veolia’s commitment to collaboration, service, and making a positive difference wherever they operate.
We give a big thank you to Veolia for supporting local communities through these charitable events. We’d also like to thank the Agua Fria Food & Clothing Bank and the Houston-area charity partners for helping deliver these donations to those who need them most.
