Starbucks Team Members Meet to Build Bikes at Team Building Event for Military Families in Newport News, Virginia
The Build-A-Bike® event created a meaningful way for Starbucks partners to spend their Saturday morning together. Teams jumped into the activity with enthusiasm and quickly began collaborating to assemble the bicycles. The atmosphere stayed upbeat throughout the event as participants encouraged each other and celebrated every completed bike. The combination of teamwork and charitable giving helped create a memorable experience for everyone involved.
The completed bicycles went directly to children connected to military and veteran families through Blue Star Families. Families were invited onsite for the bike giveaway, which made the final moments even more rewarding for participants. Jeremy Siegel also helped unite the Starbucks team members and create a welcoming environment from start to finish. Watching fifteen bikes come together for deserving children gave the entire group a strong sense of purpose and accomplishment.
We give a big thank you to Starbucks for supporting military and veteran families through this incredible event. We’d also like to thank Blue Star Families and Daniela Hines for helping create such a meaningful experience for the participating families.
