Daikin Applied Digital Leadership Team Builds Bikes at Charity Team Activity in Owatonna, Minnesota
The Build-A-Bike® gave Daikin Applied leadership team a fun way to close out their off-site gathering. Most participants traveled from Plymouth, while several remote employees joined from other locations. After spending the day focused on meetings and training, the activity provided a chance to unwind and connect in a more relaxed setting. Teams leaned into the competitive side of the event while racing to complete the bicycles. Laughter and encouragement quickly filled the room as participants worked together to solve challenges and finish each build.
The most meaningful part of the evening came when the children arrived to receive the bicycles. Team members helped adjust bike seats and encouraged the kids as they climbed on for their first rides around the room. Watching the children take those first spins created an unforgettable ending to the event. The experience reminded everyone that the evening was about much more than friendly competition. The donated bikes will help provide joy, independence, and confidence for the children and families involved.
We give a big thank you to Daikin Applied for supporting local children through this charitable team building event. We’d also like to thank United Way and Big Brothers Big Sisters for the meaningful work they do within the community.
