To accommodate employees who could not all be away from work at the same time, the company hosted two separate Charade Murder Mystery team building events on consecutive days at the Bowling Hall of Fame and Museum in Arlington, TX. While both groups tackled the same mystery, each event developed its own personality and energy. One thrived on surprise and suspense. The other leaned fully into costumes, characters, and detective work. Together, the events created two completely different experiences that had employees laughing, collaborating, and debating clues long after the mysteries were solved.

Inmar Employees Become Detectives for Two Unforgettable Charade Murder Mystery Events in Arlington, Texas
The first event featured the larger group, with five investigative teams working to crack the case. Much of the excitement came from the fact that nobody knew what was about to happen. Participants arrived expecting a standard team building activity. Everything seemed normal until, during an icebreaker, one of the employees suddenly collapsed and “died.”
The reaction was immediate.
Confusion quickly turned into laughter as people realized they had just become part of a murder mystery. From that point forward, the room transformed into a crime scene. Teams chased leads, interviewed suspects, compared theories, and worked through unexpected twists. Because nobody saw it coming, every new clue landed with maximum impact. The surprise factor kept investigators fully engaged as they tried to separate facts from deception and identify the culprit.
The Second Event Took a Very Different Path
While participants still enjoyed a few surprises, many arrived knowing they were stepping into a mystery. Instead of diminishing the experience, that anticipation made it even bigger. The suspects came prepared. Costumes appeared throughout the room. Participants arrived wearing patches, bandannas, and even prop cigars. The characters immediately came to life, and the energy level jumped from the very start.
Interrogations became the highlight of the day. Detectives challenged suspects with confidence, suspects defended themselves with dramatic performances, and accusations flew across the room. The atmosphere felt less like a meeting and more like an interactive theater production. Every participant seemed determined to stay in character and solve the crime.
By the end of the second event, the group’s performance had reached a level we had never seen before. One group of detectives recorded the highest score ever achieved in this program. It was the perfect ending to two days filled with collaboration, creativity, and nonstop engagement.
What made these events special wasn’t just solving the mystery. It was watching two different groups embrace the experience in completely different ways. One group was driven by shock and discovery. The other was fueled by preparation and immersion. Both created unforgettable experiences that brought employees together and transformed a routine meeting into something people will be talking about for years.
