Boston Scientific Charity Bike Build in Arden Hills, Minnesota

Boston Scientific gathered for a Build-A-Bike® charity bike build event in Arden Hills, Minnesota. With thirty participants from the senior leadership team, the event was incorporated into a strategic planning session. The diverse group included leaders primarily based in Minnesota, with several traveling from Massachusetts and one executive joining from Canada. Thus creating an opportunity to strengthen cross-regional relationships while engaging in meaningful team building at the company’s Arden Hills facility.

Boston Scientific Senior Leaders Unite for Build-A-Bike® Event in Arden Hills, Minnesota
The Build-A-Bike® event provided an ideal platform for Boston Scientific’s senior leadership team to enhance their collaborative skills outside of their typical strategic discussions. As leaders responsible for guiding a global medical technology company, the opportunity to work together on a hands-on project offered fresh perspectives on teamwork and communication. The geographic diversity of the participants—with leaders from multiple regions coming together in person—added valuable cross-cultural dimensions to the team-building experience.
During the event, the senior leaders worked together to assemble bicycles for local children. All while interspersing their strategic planning discussions with meaningful community impact. This approach to their leadership gathering demonstrated Boston Scientific’s commitment to corporate social responsibility. By integrating charitable giving into their strategic planning session, these leaders modeled the company’s values of improving lives—not just through medical innovation but also through direct community engagement. The bicycles built during this event would go on to benefit children served by the Boys and Girls Club, extending Boston Scientific’s positive impact beyond healthcare and into broader community wellness.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Boston Scientific for their generous bicycle donations to children in need. We’d also like to thank the Boys and Girls Club for their continued dedication to providing essential programs and services to young people in the community.
