Cengage Build-A-Bike® Team Charity Event in New Orleans, LA
Cengage gathered for a Build-A-Bike® charity team building event at the JW Marriott in New Orleans, LA. Twenty-seven members of the Cengage legal team came together for their first offsite since 2019. After a productive session of learning and reconnecting, the group ended the day by giving back to their local community through teamwork and laughter.

Cengage Employees Gather for Build-A-Bike® Charity Team Building Event in New Orleans, Louisiana
Build-A-Bike® was the perfect finale for Cengage’s legal team offsite. After years apart, working in separate regions, the group enjoyed reconnecting through friendly competition and a shared purpose. Team members collaborated to solve challenges and earn each of the parts needed to assemble brand-new bicycles. Through a few challenges in the beginning, the teams persevered and created 4 new bikes for kids in need. The activity fostered communication, laughter, and renewed camaraderie as they worked toward a common goal.
Once the bicycles were finished, Cengage donated the bikes to local children through the nonprofit organization Clover. Representatives from Clover arrived with a truck to collect the bikes and expressed deep appreciation for Cengage’s generosity. The partnership created a rewarding experience that combined fun, teamwork, and community support.
