Cisco Build-A-Bike® Charity Team Building Event in San Jose, CA
The finance team at Cisco Systems gathered for a Build-A-Bike® charity team building activity in Milpitas, CA near San Jose on October 15th. The mostly-remote group met in person for a meaningful give back day focused on teamwork, connection, and service. Together, they assembled seven new bicycles that will support families served by Joshua’s Gift. Two grateful mothers joined through WebEx and appeared on projector screens to thank the team for their generosity.

Cisco Systems Employees Gather for Build-A-Bike® Charity Team Building Event in San Jose, California
The Build-A-Bike® event gave Cisco’s finance team a chance to work together in a fun and supportive environment. Since most employees work remotely, the session offered a rare opportunity to collaborate face-to-face. Teams competed in challenges, earned bike parts, and supported each other throughout the building process. Their teamwork helped them complete seven bicycles with pride.
The charity component added a powerful moment to the day. Joshua’s Gift supports families raising autistic children, and each donated bike will bring joy to a deserving family. Two moms joined the event virtually and thanked the participants for their kindness. Their heartfelt messages appeared on large screens and created a memorable moment for the group. Many participants said the gratitude made the experience even more meaningful.
