The DISQO team came together for an Ace Race® charity team building event in Glendale, CA on August 7th. Originally planned for their annual meeting, this event pivoted into a “Bring Your Kid to Work Day” after fires forced schedule changes. More than 80 participants, including parents and children, filled the room with incredible energy. Families warmed up together before dividing into teams and starting with a cheer contest. Kids led the way with creativity, turning boxes and cans into imaginative mini-golf holes. The final race was head-to-head, thrilling, and capped off with a donation of 660 pounds of food to the Downtown Women’s Center in Los Angeles.

DISQO Employees and Families Team Up For Ace Race® Team Building Event in Glendale, California
This Ace Race® event allowed DISQO families to collaborate across generations. Parents and kids brainstormed, built, and tested their mini-golf holes. Some holes proved impossible at first, but teams quickly adapted, finding solutions that blended creativity and teamwork. Every participant had to sink an ace on their own hole, pushing both kids and adults to stay focused and determined. The energy was high, the race was tight, and the joy was shared by all.
The charitable impact was equally meaningful. Together, the teams donated 660 pounds of food to the Downtown Women’s Center, helping single mothers in need. Kamila and her team arrived to collect the donation and shared the organization’s mission. The partnership highlighted the powerful connection between workplace team building and community support.
