Essential Anesthesia Management Rescue Bear® Event in Lafayette, LA

Essential Anesthesia Management (EAM) kicked off their holiday celebration with a Rescue Bear® charity team building event in Lafayette, Louisiana. Thirty-five team members met in person for the first time since their 2022 merger. They gathered at Opportunity Machine to strengthen connections while creating comfort items for children in need. The event culminated in the donation of 28 stuffed animals to their client partner, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital for Women and Children.
Essential Anesthesia Management, formed through the 2022 merger of EmergencHealth and YPS Anesthesia Services, is a clinician-owned and operated healthcare organization. Their name reflects their critical role in operating rooms, where their services, though often behind the scenes, are truly essential. Led by professionals with decades of clinical experience, EAM prioritizes building strong relationships with surgeons, hospital administrators, and fellow clinicians while providing excellence and reassurance to patients in their most vulnerable moments.
Essential Anesthesia Management unites for Rescue Bear® event in Lafayette, Louisiana
The Rescue Bear® event provided a perfect opportunity for EAM’s distributed workforce to connect in person. This was particularly meaningful for team members who joined through the merger of EmergencHealth and YPS Anesthesia Services. Just as they work together to provide essential medical services, participants collaborated on team challenges to earn materials for building their bears. The activity helped bridge the gap between remote colleagues. It fostered the same kind of trust and teamwork that is crucial in their medical practice.
Teams progressed through various challenges, applying their problem-solving skills to earn bear-building materials. The special connection between EAM and Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital added deeper meaning to the activity. The participants knew their bears would comfort children at a facility where they regularly provide services. This unique circumstance created a powerful circle of care, where team building directly benefited their own patient community.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Essential Anesthesia Management for choosing to make their holiday celebration meaningful through the Rescue Bear® program. Special appreciation goes to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital for Women and Children for their partnership in bringing comfort to young patients.
