The Build-A-Bike® event gave HMA employees a hands-on way to reconnect. Teams formed with a mix of colleagues who had not worked together previously. The atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming from the start. Laughter and conversation flowed easily as teams settled into the activity. The holiday setting helped the group unwind and enjoy time together.
As the event continued, collaboration became the natural focus. Teams worked through challenges and communicated clearly to earn bike parts. Friendly competition kept energy high without feeling overwhelming. Participants encouraged one another and shared problem-solving responsibilities. Representatives from Treehouse for Kids joined the event and shared their mission. They spoke about supporting children in foster care throughout the Seattle area.
