Kaiser Permanente hosted an aMAZEing Builders charity team building event in San Francisco, CA. The San Francisco OBGYN department gathered about 140 team members for a day focused on connection and communication. Leaders wanted the group to strengthen relationships and learn more about each other. When coworkers build stronger relationships, daily work becomes far more rewarding. Participants enjoyed networking, friendly competition, and creative mental challenges throughout the program. By the end, the team packed seventeen kits filled with diapers, formula, wipes, and books. The department donated these essential supplies to the Homeless Prenatal Program.

The San Francisco OBGYN department gathered for an engaging aMAZEing Builders activity designed to strengthen teamwork. Participants worked in teams and tackled lighthearted challenges throughout the event. The program blended communication exercises with playful competition that energized the entire room. As teams completed each challenge, they earned items needed for the charity donation kits. The format encouraged conversation and helped coworkers interact beyond their daily roles. Many participants discovered shared interests and new connections within their department. The activity also highlighted how strong communication supports collaboration in a fast-paced medical environment.

The group ultimately assembled seventeen donation kits filled with essential supplies for new families. Each kit included diapers, wipes, baby formula, and books. The department selected the Homeless Prenatal Program as the charity partner for the event. Several OBGYN department leaders regularly volunteer with this organization. One of the department’s head doctors spoke about the charity’s mission during the event. The doctor explained how the program supports vulnerable families throughout San Francisco. The team delivered the donation items to the organization the following day. Their contribution will help provide much-needed resources to families in the community.
