Cadence Design Systems Interns Team Up For Build-A-Bike Event in San Jose, California
This Build-A-Bike® event gave interns a chance to practice collaboration and celebrate National Intern Day in a memorable way. As future engineers, they worked in groups to assemble bikes while sharpening communication and teamwork skills. The fast-paced challenges helped interns think critically and problem-solve, while also bonding with peers across departments. The event emphasized creativity, determination, and the joy of shared success.
The charitable aspect of the day created lasting impact. Six bikes were donated to Redwood City PAL, an organization dedicated to supporting at-risk youth. With help from Chase Love’s outreach, these donations will reach children in migrant farm communities. Interns appreciated seeing how their efforts could directly benefit kids in need. Their hard work will provide safe and fun transportation to children who otherwise might go without.
We give a big thank you to Cadence Design Systems for hosting this event and supporting the community. We also thank Redwood City PAL for their dedication to helping underserved children across Northern California.
