Kimley-Horn Team Members Unite for Build-A-Bike® Event in Dallas, Texas

The iconic AT&T Stadium provided an extraordinary backdrop for this massive team building initiative. The energy of the venue, home to the Dallas Cowboys, amplified the excitement as employees worked together in coordinated waves of 500 participants. The stadium field, typically host to professional football games, became a hub of collaborative activity. Teams raced to assemble bicycles with precision and enthusiasm, realizing opportunities to work with each other along the way.

The scale of the event matched Kimley-Horn’s ambitious approach to community impact. Under the leadership of Takesia Tate, the company orchestrated one of the largest Build-A-Bike® events to date. In total, it resulted in 100 new bicycles for local children! United Way representative Kaitlyn McDonald highlighted the transformative impact this donation would have on underprivileged families throughout Tarrant County. The distribution partnership with both the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and YMCA of the USA ensures these bikes will reach children who need them most.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Kimley-Horn for their extraordinary commitment to this record-breaking charitable initiative. Special thanks to United Way of Tarrant County, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and YMCA of the USA for their partnership in creating lasting impact in children’s lives.
