Nationwide hosted a Build-A-Bike® charity team building event in Columbus, Ohio on November 4, 2025. Nationwide’s Personal Lines leaders packed the plant-filled atrium of their downtown headquarters for a fast-moving experience full of energy, laughter, and good chaos. With 95 leaders participating, the goal was to work together, have fun, and support underserved youth in the local community. The event delivered momentum from start to finish.

Nationwide Leaders Bring Energy To Build-A-Bike® Team Building Activity in Columbus, Ohio
The Build-A-Bike® event brought Nationwide’s Personal Lines leaders together in the UC Room atrium at Nationwide Plaza. Teams jumped into puzzles, challenges, and problem-solving activities with enthusiasm. Puzzle answers flew as a smart, tenacious crowd pushed the pace. The room buzzed with momentum as teams raced to earn bike parts. Laughter echoed throughout the space as leaders collaborated, competed, and cheered each other on.
In total, participants worked together to assemble 14 bicycles for underserved youth. All of the bikes benefited Franklinton Cycle Works, a local organization supporting the community. One team of 14 even broke into the iconic “Nationwide is on your side” jingle during their cheer. The moment surprised the room and added to the fun atmosphere. As the bikes were completed, the energy shifted toward pride and purpose. The donation highlighted how teamwork can create a meaningful impact beyond the workplace.
