Oncor Electric Delivery Employees Collaborate During Bike-Building Charity Team Building Activity in Fort Worth, Texas

The Build-A-Bike® activity brought together two Oncor departments that rarely work side by side. Teams completed high-energy challenges and problem-solving activities to earn bicycle parts. The format required communication, trust, and cooperation across departmental lines. Participants quickly learned that success depended on listening and working together. Laughter and encouragement filled the room as teams raced to assemble their bikes.

As the final bikes came together, the focus shifted to the community impact everyone was looking forward to from the beginning. Teams built brand-new bicycles for children in need. Representatives from Mission Arlington arrived to accept the donation at the conclusion of the event. Their presence added meaning and emotion to the experience. The donation reminded participants that teamwork can create lasting change beyond the workplace.

Thank you to Oncor Electric Delivery for supporting children in the Fort Worth community through this Build-A-Bike® event. We also thank Mission Arlington for their continued service and partnership.
