Teleflex recently merged two departments into one larger team. Leaders wanted a fun way to break the ice and encourage connection. Teleflex Employees Connect During Build-A-Bike® Retreat in Orlando, Florida
Teleflex used the Build-A-Bike® activity to bring two newly combined departments together. Participants divided into teams and jumped into a series of fun clues. Each clue helped teams earn the parts needed to complete their bicycles. As the activity unfolded, employees quickly started learning more about their new teammates. Laughter and friendly competition filled the room as teams worked toward a common goal. The activity helped break down barriers and build stronger connections across the group.
Once the teams finished assembling the bikes, representatives from Children’s Home Society of Florida joined the group to accept the donation. The charity partners were fantastic to work with throughout the event. Their presence helped highlight the impact these bikes will have on children in the community. When the completed bicycles rolled forward for the presentation, the room erupted in applause. The moment captured the spirit of teamwork and generosity that defined the entire event.
We extend a big thank you to Teleflex for supporting children through this Build-A-Bike® event. We also thank Children’s Home Society of Florida for the incredible work they do for families across the state.
