ARA Insurance Employees Celebrate and Give Back at Rescue Bear® Charity Team Building Event in Kansas City, Missouri

The event served as both a celebration and a team-building experience. As employees looked ahead to the company’s 50th anniversary, leaders took time to recognize several team members for their contributions. Honorees received special recognition and gift cards, creating a festive atmosphere before the Rescue Bear® activity began.

Once the day started, participants worked together through a series of challenges designed to encourage communication, collaboration, and relationship-building. Many employees connected with coworkers they did not regularly interact with, helping strengthen bonds across the organization. The activity created plenty of laughter while giving everyone an opportunity to contribute toward a meaningful goal.

The most memorable moment came when Stephanie from Children’s Mercy Hospital arrived to accept the donation. She shared how the plush bears would comfort children receiving care at the hospital. Her heartfelt remarks helped participants understand the impact of their efforts and gave the donation even greater meaning.

By the end of the event, employees had assembled 28 bears that would soon bring comfort to children facing difficult circumstances. Many participants commented on how much fun they had and how many new connections they made throughout the afternoon. The event host was especially pleased with the experience, sharing that the program exceeded expectations and expressing interest in future events.

We extend our sincere thanks to ARA Insurance for supporting children at Children’s Mercy Hospital through this Rescue Bear® event. We also thank Children’s Mercy Hospital for the incredible care and support they provide to children and families throughout the region.
