AstraZeneca’s attorneys gathered for a Build-A-Bike® charity team building activity in Wilmington, Delaware on March 18, 2026. Twenty participants traveled in from locations around the world for their annual company meeting. The event gave the group a chance to step away from meetings and connect through a shared activity. Participants worked together in a relaxed, high-energy environment that encouraged collaboration and conversation. The experience also created a meaningful connection to the local community through a bicycle donation.

AstraZeneca Attorneys Connect Through Build-A-Bike® Charity Team Building Activity in Wilmington, Delaware
The Build-A-Bike® event brought together attorneys from across the globe during AstraZeneca’s annual company meeting. After spending time in sessions and discussions, the group shifted into a more relaxed setting where teamwork took center stage. The atmosphere felt upbeat from the start, with participants jumping into challenges and quickly settling into friendly competition.
Teams worked together to earn bike parts, solve problems, and keep pace with the activity around them. Since many attendees traveled in from different regions, the event created an easy way for people to connect outside of work conversations. The shared experience encouraged participants to talk, laugh, and work together in a more casual environment.
One of the most memorable moments came at the end of the event when three children attended to receive the completed bikes. Seeing the donation happen in person added a personal touch to the experience. The bicycles benefited the H. Fletcher Brown Boys & Girls Club, a charity that proved wonderful to work with throughout the event. The bike presentation gave participants a chance to see the direct impact of their efforts.
