On July 15th, The Compass Group hosted a Rescue Bear® charity team building event in Houston, TX. The event brought together thirty-eight participants during their first Women in Leadership meeting. Leaders from across the country joined for two days of connection and growth. Day one focused on introductions and team bonding, ending with the meaningful Rescue Bear® experience.

Compass Group Leaders Connect During Rescue Bear® Charity Team Building Event in Houston, Texas
The Rescue Bear® activity offered participants an opportunity to strengthen leadership skills through collaborative challenges. Teams were formed based on individual strengths, then tasked with solving problems to earn bear-building supplies. Each bear represented a victory in communication, creativity, and teamwork. The program provided a balance of fun and meaningful leadership development, perfectly fitting the theme of the Women in Leadership meeting.
The event concluded with the donation of the completed bears to the YMCA. These stuffed animals will comfort children who have faced trauma. Participants left the session energized, knowing their collaboration would directly impact young lives. The smiles on the leaders’ faces reflected pride in both their teamwork and community contribution.
