Delta Dental Hosts Rescue Bear® Event Near San Francisco, CA
Delta Dental brought together employees from across three states for a Rescue Bear® charity team building event at their office in Oakland, California. Sixty-two participants worked collaboratively to assemble teddy bears for children facing emergencies. The event was both a heartwarming and impactful way to strengthen team connections—all while giving back to the community.

Delta Dental employees unite for a Rescue Bear® event in Oakland, California
Delta Dental employees gathered from three states to participate in the Rescue Bear® event. As employees work in groups to solve challenges and earn materials to assemble the bears, they must focus on leadership and collaboration. Overall, the activity fostered communication, teamwork, and camaraderie among participants, culminating in the creation of 62 adorable teddy bears.
At the event’s conclusion, they donated the assembled bears to the Oakland Fire Department. The fire department is deeply rooted in the community and committed to helping families in times of crisis. Thus, they were thrilled to receive the donation, noting that the bears would provide comfort to children facing dangerous and traumatic situations.
