The Build-A-Bike® event unfolded as a much-anticipated breather for the Delta Dental team, who had been engrossed in serious deliberations all day. The atmosphere was palpable with excitement. Additionally, participants demonstrated both enthusiasm and competitiveness. However, as the event progressed, it became evident that to achieve their goal – building the bikes – collaboration was key. The setting turned from one of competition to cooperation, illuminating the core tenets of teamwork and mutual support.
Their efforts culminated in the creation of several bikes, ready for donation. The beneficiary, Eden Youth and Family Center, gratefully accepted these bikes. For Delta Dental, this wasn’t just about team building; it was about extending a hand to the community. The joy and appreciation displayed by Eden Youth and Family Center was the cherry on top, making the entire endeavor worthwhile and etching the event in the memories of all participants.
