dsm-firmenich recently held a Rescue Bear® charity team-building event at AGILEX in Piscataway, NJ. It brought together 28 of their fragrance specialists for a day dedicated to teamwork and giving back. Originally planned for 60 participants, this intimate group still made a meaningful impact as they engaged in activities that built camaraderie and supported a local cause. The event allowed these team members to exercise their creativity and collaborative skills. All while contributing to the Boys and Girls Club of Union County.

With smaller teams, dsm-firmenich’s fragrance specialists took on a series of challenges that tested their problem-solving skills, teamwork, and agility. Every completed task brought them one step closer to building a stuffed bear, which would ultimately be donated to a child in need. Even with a smaller group, the event proved to be high-energy and impactful. Participants worked together to achieve their goals. Additionally, the intimate setting helped the team connect on a personal level. It turned the day into an experience full of collaboration and enthusiasm.
At the end of the event, the teams donated the stuffed bears to the Boys and Girls Club of Union County. Overall, this organization provides essential support to children facing adversity, offering them safe and positive opportunities to grow and thrive. Knowing their efforts would make a difference for local children inspired dsm-firmenich’s employees, giving them a deeper sense of purpose and connection. All in all, the day highlighted their shared commitment to creating positive change and reaffirmed the company’s core values of social impact and teamwork.
