JP Morgan Chase & Co. hosted an inspiring Build-A-Bike® charity team-building event in Plano, Texas. Two hundred employees participated in this remarkable event, utilizing their Volunteer Time Off (VTO) to give back to the community. The event was one of many charitable initiatives held by JP Morgan Chase & Co. Overall, it showcased the company’s commitment to philanthropy and team development.

JP Morgan Chase employees unite for Build-A-Bike® event in Dallas, Texas

The Build-A-Bike® event allowed the JP Morgan Chase team to work together while strengthening their communication and problem-solving skills. Teams competed to assemble bicycles that would be donated to children in need. This friendly competition encouraged collaboration, trust, and camaraderie among colleagues. With 200 employees choosing to spend their time giving back, the event became a testament to JP Morgan Chase’s values and commitment to service.

The participants split themselves into smaller groups, where they worked through challenges to build the bikes. Each team’s hard work and positive energy paid off as they completed their tasks. By the end of the event, they were ready to deliver the the assembled bikes to the charity.

The Frisco Family YMCA, a local organization dedicated to helping children and families, was the beneficiary of this Build-A-Bike® event. The charity will give the new bicycles to children in the community, providing them with a fun, healthy way to enjoy the outdoors. All in all, this partnership highlighted JP Morgan Chase’s ongoing dedication to supporting local charities and enriching the lives of children.
