The Build-A-Bike® event offered Sitecore employees a unique opportunity to strengthen team bonds while contributing to a charitable cause. With 400 participants, the event became a platform for collaboration, communication, and creativity. Divided into smaller teams, participants worked through various challenges to assemble bicycles, fostering teamwork and reinforcing the meeting’s “Trust Our Power” theme. The activity also provided a fun and interactive way for the sales team and leadership to come together in an informal, yet impactful, setting.

A highlight of the event was a speech by a representative from The Y in Central Maryland, who shared heartfelt insights about the impact these donated bicycles would have on local children. The powerful message resonated with the Sitecore team, reminding them that their collective efforts would bring joy and opportunity to children in need.

The completed bicycles were donated to The Y in Central Maryland, a charitable organization dedicated to empowering children and families in the area. These bikes will provide children with a sense of independence and fun, as well as a healthy way to enjoy outdoor activities. By partnering with The Y, Sitecore demonstrated its ongoing commitment to giving back to the community while fostering a sense of purpose among its employees.
