Lyra Health, a leading provider of Workforce Mental Health benefits, recently hosted a Build-A-Bike® charity event at their Burlingame, CA office. The event brought together 30 members of Lyra’s executive team. In fact, many of them were meeting in person for the first time. The energy was high as participants transitioned from virtual connections to face-to-face interactions, working together to build bikes for local youth. All in all, the event provided a meaningful opportunity for team bonding and giving back to the community.

Lyra Health executives build bikes and give back in San Francisco, California

At their Build-A-Bike® event, Lyra Health’s executive team embraced the opportunity to engage in hands-on teamwork while supporting a great cause. With 80% of the attendees either new to the company or recently promoted, this gathering marked a unique opportunity to connect in person and strengthen relationships. The event started with a bit of friendly competition as teams raced to build bikes, but quickly shifted to collaboration, highlighting the group’s shared commitment to Lyra’s mission-driven culture.

The highlight of the event was the donation of four youth bikes to the P.A.L. Center’s PACE program, which supports at-risk youth in the Redwood City community. Tito Alvarez, a representative from the center, spoke about the impact these bikes would have on the lives of local children, making the experience even more rewarding for the Lyra team.

We extend a special thank you to Lyra Health for their generosity and community-focused spirit, and to the PAL Redwood City for their continued dedication to supporting local youth.
