Quanex gathered for a Build-A-Bike® charity team building activity in St. Petersburg, Florida. The company brought together 110 sales and operations leaders from across the United States and Europe at The Vinoy Resort & Golf Club for a high-energy experience focused on teamwork and giving back. Throughout the event, participants collaborated through creative challenges before donating brand-new bicycles to children from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tampa Bay.

Quanex Leaders Unite For Build-A-Bike® Team Building Activity in St. Petersburg, Florida
The event created an electric atmosphere from the moment the teams formed. Sales and operations leaders from different regions quickly bonded while tackling fast-paced challenges and competing to assemble bikes precisely. The group brought plenty of enthusiasm into every activity, which kept the room buzzing throughout the event. Since the attendees traveled from both the United States and Europe, the experience gave everyone a chance to connect outside of daily work responsibilities while building stronger relationships.
As the event came to a close, the excitement moved into something even more meaningful. Seven children from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tampa Bay entered the room to personally choose their new bikes. That moment immediately filled the room with pride and celebration as employees saw the direct impact of their teamwork. The kids’ excitement made the experience unforgettable for the Quanex team and added an emotional finish to an already engaging event. The charity partners were fantastic to work with and helped create a smooth and memorable donation presentation for everyone involved.
