Spectrum Team Leaders Collaborate During Build-A-Bike® Charity Event in Los Angeles, California
The Build-A-Bike® event brought Spectrum leaders together for fast-paced collaboration and friendly competition. Teams worked through challenges to earn bike parts while sharpening communication skills. This group showed strong enthusiasm from the start and embraced every challenge. Their competitive nature fueled creative thinking and efficient problem solving. The room stayed lively as teams cheered, strategized, and built together.
One highlight came during the cheer contest, where a team delivered an unforgettable rap performance. The moment energized the room and showcased the group’s personality and confidence. That same creativity carried into the bike builds. By the end of the event, teams successfully assembled six bikes for the Boys & Girls Club of the East Valley. The activity reinforced how collaboration and cross-team communication drive better results.
The Boys & Girls Club of the East Valley partnered closely with the event team. Representatives coordinated quickly and sent vans and extra volunteers to collect the bikes. While traffic prevented a live address, the charity shared prepared talking points and captured photos onsite. Their enthusiasm and organization helped ensure a smooth and impactful donation experience.
We thank Spectrum for supporting local youth through this engaging Build-A-Bike® event. We also thank the Boys & Girls Club of the East Valley for their continued dedication to the community.
