Biocartis wrapped up their annual U.S.-based team meeting with an energizing Build-A-Bike® charity team event in Chicago, Illinois. On April 30, 2025, 24 participants gathered at their Chicago office to build bikes for kids in need. The group started with a bit of uncertainty but quickly found their stride; demonstrating creativity, collaboration, and great energy by the end of the session.

The Build-A-Bike® activity marked the close of Biocartis’ two-day annual meeting in Chicago. While many attendees were unsure what to expect, the event quickly became a highlight. Small teams worked together to solve challenges, earn bike parts, and build fully functioning bicycles. The exercise revealed the group’s strong communication skills and reinforced the value of collaboration across departments.
The completed bikes were donated to Blackstone Cyclery, a local nonprofit with a mission to give back through cycling. Known for their reliability and generosity, Blackstone Cyclery integrates bike donations into their year-round programming. Their team made the process seamless and added a personal touch to the donation effort, helping everyone see the true impact of their contribution.
