Dechert LLP brought together 25 members of their IT department for a Build-A-Bike® team event in Philadelphia, PA. As a closing highlight to their departmental meeting, the team gathered for a hands-on team building experience focused on collaboration and giving back. The event concluded with a heartwarming surprise as children from the charity arrived to receive the donated bikes in person.

This Build-A-Bike® event brought together various teams within Dechert’s IT department. They used the session to break down silos and celebrate the conclusion of their meetings on a high note. Participants collaborated across teams, solving challenges and building bikes in an upbeat and inclusive environment that encouraged open communication and teamwork.
The experience became even more meaningful when Not My Child, Inc., a local nonprofit, brought children to the event to receive the bikes directly. Seeing the joy on the kids’ faces added an emotional, unforgettable moment for the participants. It reminded everyone that their teamwork had made a direct and immediate difference in their community.
