Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories hosted a Build-A-Bike® charity team building event in Trenton, NJ. The event brought together 200 attendees for a hands-on activity during their national Sales and Marketing meeting. Over three days of training and networking, the group took time to give back to the local community by building bikes for donation. Their shared goal was to promote connection and purpose while embracing the spirit of service.
Founded in 1984, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories is a global pharmaceutical company headquartered in Hyderabad, India. The organization provides affordable and innovative medicines to patients in markets including the United States, India, Brazil, China, and Europe. Their product portfolio includes APIs, generics, branded generics, biosimilars, and over-the-counter items. A pioneer in ESG efforts, Dr. Reddy’s leads with purpose through sustainability, access to care, and diversity initiatives.

Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories hosted their Build-A-Bike® event at The Westin Princeton at Forrestal Village. Two hundred employees gathered from New Jersey and nearby states. During their multi-day Sales and Marketing conference, the team broke away from training to build bikes for local kids. The CEO inspired this act of service, aiming to strengthen team bonds while creating a positive community impact.
The event partnered with the Princeton YMCA, who accepted the bike donations. Although their representative was a little nervous speaking, she handled the pickup smoothly. Her presence gave the group a direct connection to their charitable impact. Seeing the bikes go to a trusted local partner reinforced the sense of accomplishment and pride in the room.
