LHS Killough Build-A-Bike® Team Event in Lewisville, TX
Lewisville High School hosted a Build-A-Bike® charity team building event in Lewisville, TX at their Killough campus. With one hundred staff members participating, the goal was to unite new teachers with long-time staff and foster strong working relationships. The school donated all it’s bikes to the Angel Tree Program, providing a connection between the team’s efforts and the community they serve.
Killough Lewisville High School is part of the Lewisville Independent School District in Texas. Since opening in 1997, the school has been committed to providing a high-quality education to its students. In 2003, construction began on the current facility, replacing the original location that once housed Miliken Middle School. The school continues to serve as an important educational institution within the community.

From the moment the event started, the staff of LHS Killough were connecting like they never had before. New teachers collaborated with veteran educators, sharing ideas and building rapport through hands-on challenges. The electric environment brought personalities out of the staff that the others had never seen. Every bit of the activity had the staff’s cheers and laughs reverberating in the gym.
Each completed bicycle was donated to the Angel Tree program, ensuring children in the district received special gifts during the Christmas season. By linking their team-building efforts to this charitable cause, the staff will see firsthand the impact of their work on local families. All the energy from the activity and the impact from their donation is being brought into the new school year.
