ConGlobal Rescue Bear® Event in Oak Brook, IL
ConGlobal hosted a Rescue Bear® charity team building event in Oak Brook, Illinois as part of their Annual Leadership Meeting. On April 9, 2025, forty-five executives and leaders came together at the Chicago Marriott Oak Brook to break away from back-to-back meetings with a hands-on, heartwarming activity that combined laughter, leadership development, and philanthropy. After participating in Build-A-Bike® the previous year, the team embraced a new challenge and made an impact for the second year in a row.

ConGlobal leaders build bears for charity at Rescue Bear® event in Oak Brook, Illinois
On day two of their Annual Leadership Meeting, ConGlobal leaders stepped away from the strategy sessions and leaped into team-building . Forty-five participants formed small groups based on their strengths to tackle creative challenges and puzzles. As they succeeded in each task, they earned the parts needed to build stuffed animals, fostering problem-solving in a fun, fast-paced environment. This year’s Rescue Bear® experience allowed the team to connect and collaborate in a meaningful way while reinforcing company values.
Participants assembled friendly plush bears to donate to the Westmont Fire Department, creating the highlight of the event. These comforting stuffed animals will be distributed to children who have experienced trauma, providing emotional support during emergency situations. The act of giving back to the communities they operate in added an emotional layer of connection to ConGlobal’s event.
