The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau hosted a Hopeful Horizons Combo charity team building event in Miami, Florida on December 2nd. The program welcomed seventy-six participants at the Citigroup Center. The group gathered to connect, learn, and give back together. The event blended learning, laughter, and meaningful impact. Participants explored communication while supporting foster teens in the local community.
The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau is a private, not-for-profit sales and marketing organization. It operates as a private-public partnership with more than 1,000 private business members. The organization also works with Miami-Dade County and local governments. Its mission focuses on attracting meetings, business, and leisure travel. The bureau supports community activities that enhance Greater Miami and Miami Beach as desirable destinations.
Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau Team Connects Across Generations During Hopeful Horizons Combo Event in Miami, Florida
The customized Combo Program brought great energy into the room from the start. The session kicked off with training on communicating effectively across workplace generations. Participants explored how different generations prefer to communicate and receive coaching. The activity struck a perfect balance between learning and fun. An incredible sense of team spirit quickly took shape. The room filled with laughter as teams connected, shared perspectives, and experienced several genuine ah-ha moments. The group stayed fully engaged and leaned into the experience together.
After the training, the group transitioned into the Hopeful Horizons charity team building activity. Teams worked together to put together ten duffle bags filled with essential items for foster teens. The hands-on experience added purpose and momentum to the event. Giving back felt natural and meaningful for the group. The donation supported the Florida Guardian ad Litem Foundation, which later picked up the items. The activity reinforced connection, generosity, and teamwork, all while making a real difference for local foster youth.
