The Build-A-Bike® event at Atlas Copco’s Cross Creek Parkway facility was a showcase of the company’s collaborative and innovative spirit. The small team of 18 participants demonstrated an impressive level of engagement. All in all, they reflected the company’s ethos of active participation and effective teamwork. At the request of Atlas Copco, the “7 Habits of Highly Successful People” were integrated into the event. This helped provide an additional layer of personal and professional development. It allowed the team to not only build bikes but also reinforce habits that contribute to success.
The hands-on experience of assembling bicycles was seamlessly aligned with the seven success principles. This made the event both educational and enjoyable. Additionally, it enhanced the team’s problem-solving skills and their ability to work collaboratively. This mirrored the values and practices that Atlas Copco upholds in its business operations. The event concluded with the donation of the assembled bikes to the Metro YMCA, embodying the company’s commitment to community engagement and social responsibility. This act of charity served as a powerful reminder of the impact teamwork and shared goals can have beyond the corporate environment.
