Capstan Therapeutics recently convened in San Diego, CA for a Build-A-Bike® team building event. Comprising a total of 65 participants, this international team had a two-fold purpose. To foster team bonding and to give back to the community by donating bicycles to deserving children.

The Build-A-Bike® event at SD Tech was an opportune moment for the Capstan Therapeutics team. Given their commitment to advancing healthcare for children, the initiative resonated deeply with their mission. This activity did not serve as a team-building exercise alone. All in all, it provided them with a tangible way to make a positive impact. Their actions changed the children’s lives in the San Diego area for the better.
Eight diligent students from Cesar Chavez Elementary School in San Diego were the fortunate recipients of the bikes assembled during the event. Remarkably, each of these students had maintained perfect attendance records, showcasing their commitment and dedication to education. The smiles and joy evident on the faces of the children as they received their bikes were a testament to the profound impact such charitable initiatives can have, both on the recipients and the donors.
